Harvey Baker, Jr. 55, of Sterling and former Forreston resident died Saturday in CGH medical Center, Sterling. He was born December 23, 1954 in Freeport, Illinois the son of Harvey and Margaret M. (Meyer) Baker. Mr. Baker is survived by his uncle Roger Meyer. Two Aunts, Judy Richards and Vi Rothermel. Also cousins, nieces and nephews. His two friends and care givers, Paul Meyer and Allan Genandt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael. Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be Thursday, 2:00 P.M. in Burke-Tubbs Funeral home, Forreston .Rev. Jeff Coester will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00P.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, rural Mt. Morris. A memorial has been established in his name.
