Charles E. Castle Jr., 58 of Chippewa Falls, WI., formerly of Freeport, died Friday, March 5, 2010 in his home. Born on July 27, 1951 the son of Charles and Ruby (Yeager) Castle Sr., in Freeport. Charles worked as a truck driver and was employed by Micro Switch. When he moved to Wisconsin Charles worked for Cray Institute Computer Company and JH Larson Company. He married Peggy Maurer in Freeport on May 30, 1974. Charles was a Army Vietnam Veteran from 1968-71. Survivors include his wife Peggy of Chippewa Falls, WI.; one daughter Carman Castle of Chippewa Falls, WI.; four grandchildren, Jordon, Derek, Reese, and Carson Frohn. Also surviving are special aunt and uncle Kathryn and Kenneth Eggemeier. Preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Burke-Tubbs. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
