Elaine L. Barron

Elaine L. Barron, 89, of Freeport, died Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Manor Court of Liberty Village. She was born November 26, 1925 in Orangeville, IL, the daughter of George and Anna (Bobb) Moyer. She married Leon "Lee" Barron November 16, 1947 in Freeport, IL; he died September 9, 2000. She worked at Dr. Beasley's and Dr. Vincent's Dentist Office's, and also at Micro-Switch. She was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was an avid Chicago White Sox and Green Bay Packer fan. Family was an important part of her life, especially her grandson. Elaine is survived by her two sons Jack (Debra) Barron of Freeport, IL and Daniel (Zoe) Barron of Wilmette, IL; her sister Beulah "Boo" Waelti of Sarasota, FL; and her grandson Daniel Barron of Lacrosse, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday March 17, 2015 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Eatock officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Monday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, and also from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
