Ellen S. Stadermann

Ellen S. Stadermann, 75, of rural Winslow, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on April 27, 1942 at home in rural Winslow, a daughter of Ralph R. and Dorothy (Messinger) Harnish. She graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1960. Ellen married James "Jim" Stadermann on June 28, 1963 in Freeport. They were together for 54 years. Ellen is survived by her husband; a son, Curt (Shelia) of South Beloit; Illinois; three grandchildren, Mary Ellen Stadermann, John Stadermann and David Stadermann all of Freeport; and a sister, Lila L. Harnish of Freeport. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Harnish and Russell Harnish; and two sisters, Sylvia Harnish and Marilyn Castle. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday September 25, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
