James E. Taylor

James E. Taylor, 67, of Freeport, died Wednesday June 21, 2017 in his home. James was born June 16, 1950 in Freeport, the son of Ulyesses and Florence (Landry) Taylor. He married Sharon Whitehead on March 5, 1976 in Freeport. James worked at FHN in Environmental Services. He was a member of Apostolic Pinnacle Faith Church. James enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and playing the drums. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Taylor of Freeport; two daughters, Angella Taylor and Danielle (Nickki) Postlewaite both of Freeport; brother, Lawrence Taylor of Freeport; two sisters, Jean Walker of Freeport and Florence (Michael McGee) Taylor of Canton, GA.; and two grandchildren, Mydna Taylor and Marshawata Taylor bother of Freeport. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 1, 2017 at New Second Baptist Church. Rev. David Whitehead will officiate.
