Joseph E. Howard

Joseph E. Howard, 92, of Freeport, IL died Friday August 26, 2022 at Manor Court in Freeport. He was born on December 22, 1929, in Estherville, IA and attended school there. He graduated from Drake University. He also attended the University of Iowa. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He taught school in Cresco, IA for two years, and Freeport, IL for nineteen years. After teaching, he and a friend built houses for several years. He is survived by three nieces. His body has been donated to science. There will be no funeral services or visitation per Joseph's request.
