LeVorn A. Clark departed this life on Friday, February 12, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, IL. LeVorn A. Clark was born on March 27, 1940 in Forrest City, Arkansas, the daughter of Fred Allen Sr., and Bessie Brown Allen. She was the oldest of six children. LeVorn A. Clark married the late Timothy Clark Jr. in Chicago, IL. LeVorn's love for her family was unconditional. The highlight of many of her days was spent caring for her grandchildren. The care that she has given them and many others throughout the years will never be forgotten. And it is because of that absolute love she is known to everyone as Aunt Vorn. She was a member of Mt. Calvary COGIC under the leadership of the late Pastor George Wright. She continued her spiritual walk as a Missionary at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Wanda (Spencer) Garrison of Rockford, Janice (Ray) Flowers of Rockford, Kevie Clark of Freeport, Yollanda (Kenneth) Hines of Freeport, Rolanda (Tyrane) Allen of Freeport, Kelli (Steven) Bigel of Crestwood, Oweida Johnson of Freeport, Calvin Clark of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Grady Clark of Freeport; also, daughter in law, Debra Clark. She also leaves to cherish her memories with four sisters, Bessie (Leonard) Parks, Emma (David) Clark, Linda (Derry) Tyler and Dorothy Allen all of Freeport; one brother, Joseph (Shirley) Bynum of Forrest City, Arkansas; four sister in laws, Diane (John) Morris of Freeport, Rita Clark of Elgin , Eldora (Gene) Parks of Seattle, Washington and Lena Mae Allen of Denver, Colorado; one brother n law, Lee Edward Clark of Las Vegas, Nevada; 31 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Also surviving are special friends, Melody Liburd, Nannie Mae Edison, and Geraldine Crawford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bessie Allen; her husband, Timothy Clark Jr.; one brother, Fred Allen Jr.; one daughter, Sandra (Allen) Parham; one son, Timothy Clark III and one grandson, William Hines. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Mt. Calvary COGIC Church. Pastor Dr. Charles Washington will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
