Miriam E. Lebaron

Miriam E. LeBaron, 99, of Freeport, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Miriam was born April 5, 1921 in Rock Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Clare and Anna (Sweger) Bennehoff. She married Warren R. LeBaron July 7, 1946 in Rock Grove. Mr. LeBaron passed away February 15, 2008. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, and of the Scottish Rites. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and baking for her family. Surviving are her son, Mark LeBaron of Freeport; daughters, Marsha Hynes of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Marjorie (Dan) O'Hara of Godfrey, Illinois; four grandchildren, Jenelle Hynes, James Hynes, Amanda (Josh) Paulsen, and Melissa (Stu) Williams; and four great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Colton, Shay and Owen. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Mary Louise; two brothers, Dale and Paul; two sisters, Lucille and Corolyn; and son-in-law, John Hynes. Private family visitation and funeral services will be held Monday May 4, 2020 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Thomson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
