Robert F. Hubbird, 60, died Sunday March 26, 2017 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. He was born April 30, 1956 in Hammond, IN to Raymond and Mildred (McGee) Hubbird. On August 2, 2015 he married Joanne H. Laning in Carol Stream, IL. Robert was a self-employed handyman. He attended First Baptist Church in Freeport. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, spending time with his dogs, table tennis, and attending garage sales. Surviving are his wife Joanne Laning of Carol Stream IL; son Robert (Lucy) Hubbird of Chicago; two stepsons Louis (Veronica) Horton of North Aurora and Glenn (Grace) Horton of Carol Stream; daughter Ruby (Marcus) Brown of Hammond, IN; sister Ruth (Darryl) O'Farrel of McDavid, FL; and six grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
