Ruth F. Richard

Ruth F. Richard, 100, died Saturday September 15, 2012 at Manor Court of Freeport. Ruth was born on November 6, 1911, in Freeport, the daughter of Herman and Amanda (Kutzke) Janssen. Ruth married Charles F. Richard on July 12, 1931, in Dixon, IL. Charles died May 25, 1980. Ruth was a member of Cedarville Emmanuel Church where she also taught Sunday school. She was also a member of Women'™s Missionary Society. Ruth is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and special friends; Mable and Richard Louthain, of Rockford. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 20, at Cedarville Emmanuel Church, with Rev. Ron Tyler will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Church. A memorial has been established for Cedarville Emmanuel Church in Ruth'™s memory.
