A Life Remembered

Alria J. Warner, 77, of Freeport, passed away on August 9, 2026, at OSF Hospital in Rockford. She was born on March 15, 1949, in Pulaski, Illinois, to the late Peter and Margaret (Lee) Jackson.

Alria was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her love of family, strength, honesty, and caring nature. She was a straightforward woman who lived in her truth and was never afraid to tell it like it was. Her family finds comfort in her Christian faith and in knowing that she is at peace with her Heavenly Father.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Charles Warner; her brother, John A. Jackson; and her family member, Jeff Murphy.

Alria leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Justin (Jessica) Cole and Michael Cole; her sister, Mary Goosby of Freeport, Illinois; her brothers, Kenneth Hamilton of Mounds, Illinois, Stephen (Cindy) Jackson of Freeport, Illinois, and David Jackson of Rockford, Illinois; as well as her grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Private family services will be held.
