Amy Marie (Kleindl) Sierra, 50, of Freeport, IL, went home to be with those who departed before her on Tuesday September 22, 2026, at 8:38pm, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI, while surrounded by family and loved ones holding her close. Amy was born June 16, 1976, in Freeport, Il, the daughter of Clifford Allan and Marlene.

She was blessed with her daughter Erin Rose Hoskinson and son Brayden Michael Sierra and who were the light of her life. Amy was united in marriage to Jeffrey Sierra on July 18, 2014.

Amy was often referred to as “the best server in Freeport.” Having worked at the Holiday Inn, Prime Table, Country Junction, and most recently Riverside 7.

Amy is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Sierra; Mother, Marlene Ahrens; daughter Erin Rose Hoskinson (Dominique Holland) and sons Brayden Michael Sierra and Sean Michael (Chelsie) Sierra; step-daughter Samantha Sierra; Step-son Devan Michael Sierra; and brothers, John (Stacey) Kleindl, Brian Ahrens, Michael (Renee) Ahrens, and Matthew Carpenter; sisters, Cherie (Frank) Lloyd, Michelle Kleindl, Bonnie Ahrens, Susan Wolfe, and Krissy Green; and 4 very special granddaughters who she loves very much, Arianna Sierra, Ivy Opal, Magnolia Jane, and Zinnia Kay Holland; special nieces and nephews, Jena (Tyler) Spinnato, Ellen Kleindl, Skye and Landyn Crowell; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Amy was greeted in death by her grandparent’s Clifford and Agnes Kleindl, and Ruth Alleman; fathers, Clifford Allan Kleindl and Ronald W. Ahrens; brother Ronald Jr. and special friends: Sally Miller and Toby Anderson.

Visitation will be Friday October 2, 2026, from noon-2:00pm at St John United Church of Christ in Freeport Il, followed by the funeral service with Pastor Hank Fairman officiating.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL. A memorial has been established in Amy’s name.
