Annie Robey

Annie C. Robey, 66, of Freeport, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Presence Health St. Joseph Center. Born on October 20, 1947 in West, Mississippi, the daughter of Oliver and Inez (Davis) Davis. She married Leo Robey on May 5, 1967 in Freeport. Annie enjoyed dancing, fishing and witnessing door to door. She was proud of earning her GED in 1992 and loved being around her children and grandchildren. Annie is survived by her husband, Leo; her mother, Inez Nettles of Freeport; four sons, Giovanni James (Casey) Robey of Roanoke, VA., Dale Robey of Monroe, WI., Jonathon Robey of Orangeville, and Alexander (Delores) Holloway of Freeport; three daughters, Phyllis Beach of Roanoke, VA., Patricia Robey of Freeport and Alisha (Clarence III) Brown of Freeport; also eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Wittnesses at 2 p.m. Brother Gerald Boos will officiate.
