Barbara Ella Sigafus

Barbara Ella Sigafus, 90, of Freeport, Il, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where her faith became sight as a trophy of grace, Tuesday March 24, 2026 at Lena Living Center, Lena, IL. She was born October 15, 1935 in Marion, IL, the daughter of Ira and Hester (Ramsey) Maze.

Barbara married Kenneth W. Sigafus May 19, 1956 and they were faithfully married for 64 years; Kenneth passed away January 17, 2021.

Barbara worked for Honeywell for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Sigafus of Ohio, Linda (Steve) Rios and Vonda (Robert) Campbell of Freeport IL, her brothers Bill Maze of Marion, IL, Harold Maze of Marion, IL. and nephews Rodger (JoAnn) Gorsline, Robin (Karen) Gorsline of Freeport IL and David Sigafus of Sterling IL.

Barbara was very active in church, especially in sharing her gift of singing. She always made sure her daughters were in church where they learned about the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a great cook & baker and could always be seen working in the yard and helping her neighbors.

Private family graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
