Carolyn Geiser

Carolyn M. Geiser, 83, of Freeport died Monday in her home following an extended illness. She was born July 29, 1929 in Freeport, Illinois the daughter of Isaac and Florence(Fluegel) Heitter. On September 4, 1954 Carolyn married Rodney 'Doc' Geiser in Freeport. He died July 9, 2006. Mrs. Geiser farmed with her husband near Freeport and was later employed as a book keeper. She was a member of Park Hill Evangelical Free Church, Freeport. Mrs. Geiser is survived by her son, Steven L. Geiser of Freeport; her daughter, Bonnie C. Geiser of Freeport; two brothers, Duane Heitter of Freeport and Leon (Carol) Heitter of Ridott; Her sister, Colleen (Dewey) Snyder of Freeport, also her grandaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Robert and LaVerne Heitter and a sister Jean Schasker. Memorial service for Mrs. Geiser will be Friday, 11:00 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport.
