Darlene Joyce Mackey

Darlene Joyce Mackey, 81, of Freeport and former Rockford resident passed away at Oakley Courts in Freeport on Thursday, June 30, 2011. Darlene was born on November 23, 1929 in Freeport, the daughter of Adrian R. and Rose F. (Kutzke) Tucker. Darlene worked at Atwood Manufacturing in Rockford. Survivors include two sons; Mark and Bill Mickle, two brothers; Paul Tucker of Freeport and Harold (Lois) Tucker of Stockton. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sherrill, two sisters; Mary Ellen DeLapp and Amy B. Wales and one brother, Elmer Tucker. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday July 8, 2011 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
