Delores Elnora Freese was called home to be with her lord and savior on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. She was born in Rockford, IL on July 9, 1944, to Gerald and Ella (Wenger) Wise.

She married Marvin W. Freese on September 25, 1965, in Rock City, IL. They had nearly 37 years together when he passed away on July 20, 2012. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and knitting and the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her son, Brian (Patricia) Freese of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Doreen Freese of Dakota, IL; grandchildren, Ashley (Bryton) Dreier, Andrew (Cassie) Lampe and Noah Lampe; step-grandchildren, Bill, Chris, Megan and Cody; great-grandchildren, Zeana and Ridge Dreier and Finley Lampe and brother, Richard Wise. Preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers, Delbert and Shirl Wise.

A visitation will be held at Cedarville Emanuel Church in Cedarville, IL on Thursday, April 16th from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Delores’s name to the family for a future donation.
