Donna M Crone, 91, of Freeport, IL, passed away Saturday May 23, 2026 at Manor Court of Liberty Village in Freeport, IL. She was born December 3, 1934 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Reeder) Kerkhoff.

Donna married Donald Crone August 8,1953 in Freeport, IL; he passed away October 9, 2009.

Donna is survived by her son, Dana (Cari Kalina) Crone of Rockford, IL; and two grandchildren, Calista and Cameron Crone.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

To honor Donna’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Burial of cremains will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL.
