Evelyn E. Paul, 92, of Freeport, passed away October 12, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Evelyn was born June 4, 1924 in Loran Township, the daughter of Paul and Harriet (Fye) Schnell. She attended Pearl City Schools. Evelyn is survived by a son, Steven (Elizabeth) Paul of Virginia, two daughters; Nadine (William) Keister of Rock City, and Louise (Christopher) Crowe of Orem, Utah. Also, 3 grandsons: Wade, Joshua and Ean. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Sarah Mae Risen, Geneva Griffin, Dorothy Volkers, and 3 brothers: Paul "Vernie" Schnell, Emmerson "Pete" Schnell and infant brother Ellis Schnell. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday November 7, 2016 at the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum. Please sign Evelyn's guestbook and share a memory at www.burketubbs.com.
