Gary L. Wheeler

Gary L. Wheeler, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021. He was born in Dixon, Illinois in 1953 to Kenneth L. and Goldie (Cross) Wheeler. He was a 1971 graduate of Forreston High School. Gary is survived by his three daughters Julie (Brian) Alderman of Trenton, Maine; Lisa McDonald of St. Louis, Missouri; and Connie (Joe) Witte of Freeport, Illinois. Gary has five grandchildren Zane and Elena Alderman, Lauren and Alexandra Witte, and Ava McDonald. He is survived by his mother Goldie, brothers Kenneth (Cathy) of Freeport, Illinois; Larry and Bill of Baileyville, Illinois; sister Colleen (Gary) Pell of Arizona; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, and brothers Ray and Jerry. Gone from sight, but never from our hearts, Gary will be deeply missed.
