Gerald A. Pudlas

Gerald A. “Jerry” Pudlas, 91, of Marion, formerly of Rural Polo, IL, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at Deaconess Regional Healthcare in Marion.

Jerry worked as an Ink Room Foreman for Kable Printing/Quebcor in Mt. Morris, IL. He was also a longtime farmer.

Jerry was born October 5, 1934 in Independence, Iowa to John & Gertrude (Orth) Pudlas.

Jerry married Marian Fegan on June 8, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Polo, IL. She survives him at their home in Marion.

He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jalayne & Erik Luckett of Lake of Egypt, IL; brother Jack Pudlas of Forreston, IL; former sister-in-law, Agatha Pudlas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Donna & Eldon Hundertmark; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul & Carol Pudlas and James & Karen Pudlas.

Memorial Mass was held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin where Fr. Mark D. Reyling officiated. Interment will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in Haldane Cemetery in Forreston, IL. Another visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston, IL. Memorial Donations may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
