Jason "Jake" Quintero, 53, of Freeport, IL, passed away Saturday September 12, 2026. He was born June 11,1973 in Freeport, IL, the son of Ronald and Bobbi (Busekros) Quintero, Sr.

Jason worked in the construction trade. He was a free spirit, loved the outdoors and spending time among his family and friends.

Jake is survived by his son, Jacob Quintero-Welch; his father, Ronald Quintero Sr.; three sisters, Dodi (Quintero) Burlingham , Anita Quintero, and Catalina Quintero; two brothers, Ronald Quintero Jr, Dakota Livolsi; and many other aunts uncles, cousins, nieces nephews and friends.

Preceding him in death is his mother Bobbi Quintero.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life at The Freeport Club Sunday September 20, 2026 from 12:00-4:00 PM.

He will be greatly missed and live in our hearts forever.
