Jean Ruth Gilchrist

Jean Ruth Gilchrist, 85, of Freeport, died Sunday October 18, 2020 at Walnut Acres in Freeport. She was born June 25, 1935, Leslie and Virginia (Bartley) Gilchrist. Jean attended Lincoln Grade School and graduated from Freeport High School in the class of 1983. She worked at Burgess Battery and then at Micro-Switch for many years. Jean is survived by her sister, Joan (Frederic) Kuhlemeier of Grand Junction, CO, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents and her brothers, Larry Gilchrist and Duncan Gilchrist. Cremation rites have been accorded. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic there will be no services. A memorial has been established in her memory.
