In Loving Memory of Jennifer Spiers

Jennifer Spiers, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love and cherished memories.

Jennifer was born on December 1, 1975, in Freeport, Illinois, to Thomas Slater Jr. and Donna Hampton. She was a loving and devoted mother whose greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Jennifer is survived by her beloved daughters, Harmony Naujokas and Whisper (Dom) Johnson; her grandchildren, Dayton, Zaidyn, Elliot, Camilla, and Delanie; her father, Thomas (Sue) Slater Jr.; her siblings, Jennifer (Chad) Keefe, Kay (Steve) Cassell, Shane Slater, Jason (Sherry) Slater, and Heather Slater; her grandmother, Shirley Green; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, including Al Spiers and Greg Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Hampton; her grandparents, John and Vera “Maxine” Gallivan, Thomas Slater Sr. and Sandra Slater, and Kenneth Green.

Though her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness, Jennifer’s love will continue to live on through her daughters, grandchildren, family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Forreston, Illinois, with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. A light luncheon will be served following the service.
