Jessie L. Evans

Jesse L. Evans, 76, of Freeport, passed away Saturday August 22, 2020. He is survived by his sons, Gregory A. Evans, and Karlos M. Evans; daughter, Barrette Evans; sister, Willie M. Staples. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Evans was an Ordained Minister of the gospel. He retired from the Freeport Housing Authority. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 5, 2020 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Gregory Evans will officiate. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
