On January 4, 2022, Joseph Curtis Coleman, Jr., departed this earthly life at the ae of 38 years young, Joe was born December 7, 1983, in Freeport, to Joseph and Amy Coleman. Joe attended Freeport High School and received his diploma in 2001. Joe had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone that was in need. Joe loved to crack jokes on any and everyone no matter who it was. His passion was cutting hair and he would stand at the barber chair day and night if he could. Which led him to establishing his own business "Hair Rehab Services, LLC in 2010. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Amy Coleman; father, Joseph (Arwestra) Coleman of Hammond IN.; fiance of nine years Marie Adams and her three sons, Davion, Deavin, and Demari; who he loved as his own; three sisters, Jasmine Coleman of Rockford, Teja Parks of Freeport and Kenya Watts of Columbus Ohio; four brothers, Carlos Williams of Chicago, Quinell Brooks and TBarron Parks of Freeport, and Twann Parks of Columbus, Ohio; also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Herbert and Thelma Shorter and Lonzo and Vernell Euell. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 15, 2022 at Faith for Miracle Deliverance and Worship Center. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
