Juanita G. Boatright

Juanita G. Boatright, 93, of Freeport, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2022 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Juanita was born March 4, 1929 , in Mendota, Illinois, the daughter of Serferino and Juanita (Gomez) Calderon. She was a 1948 graduate of Aquin High School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Juanita enjoyed watching music, traveling, and watching television. She also enjoyed traveling to new destinations. Surviving is her son, Dennis; daughter, Nancy; grandson, John Michael Boatright; and several nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, son, John; two daughters Bonnie and JoAnn; twin grandsons, Andrew and Aaron; and five brothers and four sisters. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 4, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Fr. Timothy Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
