Kenneth R. Gray

Kenneth R. Gray, 73, of Freeport, passed away, Friday September 29, 2023 in his home. Kenneth was born August 22, 1950, in Freeport, the son of David and Lorraine (Dole) Gray. Kenneth worked for O’Mara moving for several years before moving out west to California. Kenneth was an avid music fan and played in several local bands. He also enjoyed fishing and playing euchre in his free time. Mr. Gray was a member of the Freeport Eagles Club.

Surviving is his sister, Jodene (Darrell) Lacher of Davis and Sandra Gray of Freeport; nieces, Barb (Keith) Hanson, Monica Tennant, and Marcey (Terry) Morrell; nephews, Jeff (Bonnie) Gray, Joe (Vicki) Pizzolato, Chris (Stephenie) Pizzolato; great nieces, Kenzie, Maddy, Izzobelle, Meghan, Cassie, and Betsy; great-nephews, Jacob, Jordan, and Keaton; also surviving is great-great nephew, Liam.

Kenneth was preceded in death by parents, brother, David Gray; sister, Lana, and her husband, Larry Schrader.

Per Kenneth’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. No visitation or funeral services are planned at this time. A memorial has been established for St. Jude Children Hospital in Kenneth’s memory.
