Marlene "Cookie" Pearson

Marlene "Cookie" Pearson 71, died Friday, June 12th, 2020 after her brief battle with cancer. She was born in Freeport, IL on July 27th, 1948 to William and Laura (Cooper) Derr. Cookie married Robert Earl Pearson on June 10th, 1978 in Freeport. She is survived by her sons: David (Lacey) Pearson and Brian Fletcher, daughters: Patricia Garcia and Ursula Stradtmann, three sisters: Terry (Elwyn) Drye, Darlene (Lanny) Barr, and Patti Rowe, brother: Kelly Derr, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law Jeff Rowe. There will be a gravesite service at the City Cemetery in Freeport, IL on Saturday June 20th at 1:00pm.
