Melissa A. Kluck, 46, of Freeport, Il passed away Tuesday July 14, 2026 at UW Health University in Madison, WI. She was born June 4, 1980 in Freeport, Il, the daughter of Tim and Julie A. Woods-McIntyre.

Melissa Married Nathan Kluck September 27, 2003.

Melissa worked for McDonalds, FHN Memorial Hospital as a telemetry nurse, and Freeport School District as an enrollment specialist. She enjoyed hosting pool parties, family, friends, cards/game night, watching kids, bracelet making, and making food. She always had a snack drawer and everyone knew it! If you were a stranger, it didn’t take long before you weren’t anymore, she loved everyone! She would constantly send messages to check on her kids, or make sure they knew it was a nice day out, and that she loved them. She would always send random pictures of old memories. She was a member of The Moose Lodge and Antique Engine Club.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Nathan Kluck of Freeport, Il; sons, Howie(Brea Musser) Kluck and Dustin (Ava Bremmer) Kluck; brother, Joshua Johnson; sisters, Angela (Patrick) LaBudde and Peggy Almasy (Bill); grandmother, Joan Woods; brother-in-law, Justin (Tina) Kluck; sister-in-law, Sarah (Jeremy Heiden) Kluck; nephews, Seth (Aja) Mekeel, Zackarey and Alex McDearmon, and Jason Labudde; nieces, Paige Stichter, Caeley Johnson: great niece, Brinley Stichter; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her dog, Kelly; and grand-dog, Millie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, William Woods; her special uncle who walked her down the aisle, Michael Woods; and Father and Mother in law Delbert and Janna Kluck.

Visitation will be Sunday July 26, 2026, from 12-3:00 PM at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, IL. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Monday July 27, 2026, at Zion Community Church, Pearl City, IL. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Melissa's memory.
