Michael A. Campbell, 62, of Freeport, IL, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 in his home. He was born December 16, 1963, in Wabash, IN, the son of Stephen and Carol (Cleaver) Campbell. On April 19, 2011, he married Monique Myers in Las Vegas, NV. Mike enjoyed Nascar, bowling, tinkering in the garage and house, working on cars, and taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his wife Monique Campbell of Freeport, IL; son Justin (Emmy) Conroy; three step-children Alicia (Shaun Coleman) Leiser, Ashley Thompson, and Josh (Erin Doyle) Kerr; brother, Jamie (Kelly) Campbell; sister Jody (Matt) Campbell; and seven grandchildren Peyton (Abby), Devin, Kiera, Aria, Chase, Everlee, and Elena.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents Stephen and Carol Campbell; maternal grandmother Mary Cleaver; and paternal grandparents Hugh and Rosie Campbell.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established in Mike’s memory.
