Ms. Nathanel Robertson

 Ms. Nathanel Robertson, 92, of Freeport, IL, passed away June 10, 2025 at Manor Court of Freeport. She was born March 4, 1933 in Pickens, MS, the daughter of Leslie and Annie Mae Thomas. On August 1, 1953 she married Wilford Robertson Sr. in Freeport. Wilford passed away November 6, 1970. Nathanel was a member of Philippians Baptist Church in Freeport, where she regularly attended throughout her life. She was employed at Structo and later named Thermos in Freeport for many years. Her hobbies included cooking, watching her various favorite TV shows, and listening to spiritual music. Most of all, she will be remembered as a people person that loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons Wilford (Sonja) Robertson Jr. of Ridott, IL Thomas Robertson of Freeport, IL, and Alan Robertson of Freeport, IL; two grandchildren Anthony Ellis and Rodney Robertson.

Preceding Nathanel in death are her parents, husband, daughter Kristen; three brothers Earl, William and Rayford; and five sisters Olivia, Lessie Mae, Mary, Thelma, and Ora B.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday June 18, 2025 at Phillippians Baptist Church, Rev. Nathan Allison officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Freeport City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
