Richard L. Stocker

Richard “Dick” L. Stocker, 77, of Forreston, IL passed away Saturday November 16, 2024 at FHN Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born May 26, 1947 in Monroe, IA, the son of Cleo and Dorla (Fullerton) Stocker. On September 2, 1972 he married Wanda Watry and they spent 52 wonderful years together. Dick enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Wanda of Forreston, IL; son Eric (Kimberly) Stocker of Sycamore, IL; daughter Stacey (Dave) Molina of Marseilles, IL; brother Steve (Deb) Stocker of Forreston, IL; grandchildren Jena, Ethan, Emma, Nikayla, and Jaedyn; and two great-grandchildren Lucas and Avery.

Preceding Dick in death are his parents and five brothers Carl, Jim, Danny, Dave, and Mike.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per Dick’s wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will take place this summer.
