Rod Singleton

Rod Singleton, age 68, beloved husband to Rhonda (nee Knutson) and father to Hunter, entered his heavenly home on January 21, 2026. He was a cherished son-in-law to Glenda and Chester Knutson (deceased) and brother-in-law to Darrell Knutson. Rod brought joy and laughter to all those he was around. 

He touched the lives of his sisters, Rhonda Trevino, Roxanne Russell, and Jami (Scott) Brandt, as well as his many nieces and nephews, friends, and family. 

Rod was predeceased by his mother, Elaine Singleton. 

Visitation will be held at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, located at 2525 W. Stephenson St., Freeport, IL, with a funeral service immediately following. In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in Rod’s name be directed to Hunter Singleton for education.
