Ruby Marie Redington, 94, of Orangeville, Il passed away Monday May 11, 2026 at UW Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Il. She was born June 25, 1931 in Apple River, IL, the daughter of Richard and Annie (Allen) Wetzel.

Ruby married Llyod Martin, he passed away in 1978; she married Everett Mullen, he passed away 1995; she married Elmer Redington, he passed away in 1999.

Ruby worked at GC Electronics in Rockford, IL. She was a former member of Apple River Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing euchre and traveling with her third husband, Elmer.

Ruby is survived by Leonard (Sharon) Martin of Mt. Morris, Il; daughter, Deborah (Bill) Guinther of Orangeville, IL; numerous stepchildren; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Rubey was preceded in death by her parents; three husband; brother, Llyod Allen; sister, Deloris Koning; and two grandsons, David and Lloyd Martin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday May 18, 2026 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Lightsville Cemetery, Leaf River, IL. A memorial has been established in Ruby's memory.
