Sally Jo Rohr

Sally Jo Rohr, 72, passed away Friday April 4th, 2025, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Sally was born on June 12, 1952, in Freeport to Glenn and Marilyn (Wagner) Rohr. Sally graduated from Freeport High School in 1970. After graduating, Sally started her work career at Micro Switch in Freeport, as an Executive Assistant. She went on to work for AON Corporation, where she met the love of her life John Azzarello.

Sally's hobbies included reading, needle point and shopping with her sisters and her nieces.

Sally is survived by two sisters, Carol (Donald) Schauer and Kimberly (Shawn) Boldt, both of Freeport, IL, one brother Steven Rohr of Carbondale, IL and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Sally in death is her longtime significant other John Azzarello, her parents, Glenn and Marilyn Rohr, her sister Sharon Rinderman, her brother Charles Rohr, her nephew Matthew Rinderman and her niece Sarah Rohr.

Per Sally's wishes, there will be no services but a private family memorial and get together. Cremation rites have been accorded.
