Stanley P. Seiner

Stanley P. Seiner, 90, of Freeport, died Monday surrounded by his family. He was born February 16, 1923 in Harvey, IL., the son of Stanley and Victoria (Duda) Seiner. Stan attended Thornton High School. On May 26, 1956 he married Nancy Jensen. He served in the Army during WWII in China. Stan owned and operated Freeport Rug and Linoleum Co. for sixty seven years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Seiner is survived by his wife Nancy, two sons Michael (Kim) Seiner and Thomas Seiner, two grandchildren Jackie (Derek) Becker and Jared Seiner, two great grandchildren Dawson and Lilly Becker, one brother Edward Seiner of Calumet City, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, four brothers. Memorial services will be Friday 11 a.m. at Zion Church. Rev. Gardy Cronk will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday 4-7 p.m. at Burke-Tubbs. A memorial has been established in his name.
