Thomas L. Johnson, 79, passed away peacefully at his residence at Freeport Parkview Assisted Living Home.  Originally born in Rockford, IL, Tom and the love of his life Pam later established residence in Streamwood, IL.  Tom was predeceased by his parents, wife Pam, brothers David and Bobby, and close nieces and nephew.  A gentle soul of a man, Tom served in the U.S. Air Force were were he achieved ranking of Sargent.  He enjoyed flying and loved to visit casinos with Pam.  He will be missed for his witty conversation, kind heart and loving ways. Tom and Pam are laid to rest together at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
