Vicki L. Klecker, 73, of Lena, Il, passed away, Monday September 14, 2026, at Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside. She was born May 30, 1953, in Freeport, Il, the daughter of Wayne G. and Donna E. (Bear) Nelson. She was a 1971 graduate of Freeport High School. She married her best friend, Terry Kleckler on August 31, 1994 in Gatlinburg, TN.

Vicki spent most of her career working at Economy/St. Paul/Metlife Insurance Company, where she made many friends that became family. After she retired, she became a cashier at Sullivan’s Foods in Lena. In which she enjoyed the daily interactions of her co-workers & customers.

Vicki enjoyed spending her time with her family, friends and her dog Lucy. She was liked and loved by many. She was a person that could always bring a smile to your face, light up a room with her infectious personality and always a shoulder to cry on. She enjoyed family get togethers, lunch dates with friends and her beautiful home.

Vicki is survived by her mother; Donna Nelson of Waupaca, WI, Her daughter Alysson Julius of Stockton, IL, Her son Andy (Kathy) Fisher of Toledo, OH, sister Laurie (Randy) Gregg of Minocqua, WI, grandchildren; Austyn (Alivea) Menefee of Freeport, IL, Dillan Fisher of Kingsport, TN, Alexa Fisher of Roscoe, IL, Dayton and Delaney Julius of Stockton, IL, great grandchildren; Callyn Menefee of Freeport, IL, also many other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Kleckler, her father Wayne Nelson, her son-in-law David Julius and life long friend Jan Rutter.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Thursday September 24, 2026, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Gavin Brandt will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 pm-7:00 pm also at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be private and will take place at a later date. A celebration of life will be held later, with details to be announced. A memorial has been established in Vicki’s memory.
