William "Scott" Heilman

William "Scott" Heilman, 52, of Freeport, died Friday February 14, 2014 in his home. Born on April 17, 1961 in Freeport, the son of William and Marjorie (Springer) Heilman Jr. Scott was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. He worked at Cub Foods for 15 years and also worked at the Freeport Raceway. Surviving are his mother, Marjorie Heilman of Freeport; two brothers, Donald (Carol) Heilman and Tracy Heilman both of Freeport. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by his father and sister, Vicky. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Blomberg will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00- 6:00 p.m. also at Burke Tubbs.
